We are bringing accessible tennis to Hollingbury in partnership with Fred Perry and Ten Project!
Weekends are all about inclusive and accessible tennis at Hollingbury Community Tennis Park! For the past few weeks we have been collaborating with Fred Perry and Ten Project to bring free tennis sessions to Brighton junior players and families...
Our Fred Perry Community Tennis Sessions take place every Saturday morning and welcome players aged 5-12 years old. The goal of these sessions is to provide an accessible and affordable starting point for those wanting to get into tennis and to instill a long-lasting passion for tennis through fun, game-based drills. We hold two sessions every Saturday morning... Our first session from 9-10AM is for players 5-8 years old, and our second session from 10-11AM is for those 9-12 years old. There will be a certified coach present to lead the sessions and provide players with some tips and tools to improve and develop their game every time they join a session. Everyone is welcome!! On Saturday, 23 November, we also launched our first Ten Project family session at Hollingbury Park Community Tennis. Ten Project is a new initiative collaborating with local schools and clubs with the goal to get families to spend more time together while being active!
These sessions are FREE and use a modified system of equipment and balls, essential for the development of fundamental motor skills, technique, rallying, and of course playing the game. Under the Ten Project your child will learn to hit, move, rally and score!
You can join in on the family fun every Sunday from 11AM-12PM at the Hollingbury Park Community tennis courts. We welcome all families with children aged 4-10 for an hour of high-quality, fun, game-based tennis. Equipment can be provided if needed. Sign up for our next session here.
See you out on the tennis court!
