Ten Project is a brand new initiative aimed at getting families to spend more time together while being active in their local community. In partnership with local boroughs/authorities and Hollingbury Sports Hub, Ten Project’s school and community initiatives offer high quality, fun, game based tennis coaching that involves the whole family. Hollingbury Community Tennis will host Ten Project every Sunday from 3rd October - 5th December from 10am - 11am.
A brand founded by triple Wimbledon champion Fred Perry in 1952 and adopted by generations of British subcultures, Fred Perry is intertwined with the history of the sport. In September 2021, The Fred Perry Trust made a significant contribution to Hollingbury Tennis Club; refurbishing the courts, and helping to launch a new community junior coaching programme. Starting September 13th, we will launch our Fred Perry Community Tennis sessions for children aged 6-11 years old. More details to follow soon...
The primary goal of Bright Ideas for Tennis is to support tennis clubs in the UK by increasing membership numbers, raising participation levels and improving playing facilities. Hollingbury Community Tennis has collaborated with Bright Ideas for Tennis on a consistent basis to provide more inclusive tennis sessions for people of all ages and abilities.
